This Privacy Policy describes how Verdict ("we", "our", or "the app"), developed by Cengiz Donmez, collects, uses, and protects your information. By using Verdict, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2.1 Data Stored Locally on Your Device
The following data is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to our servers:
- Language preference (Turkish or English)
- Profile settings (risk tolerance, priority, decision style)
- Decision history (your past analyses and results)
- Onboarding status
2.2 Data Processed Through Our Servers
When you request an analysis, the following data is sent through our secure server to generate your results:
- Your decision statement (the question you ask)
- Your answers to the generated questions
- Your selected options
- Your profile settings (to personalize the analysis)
This data is processed in real-time and is not stored on our servers.
3. Third-Party Services
3.1 OpenAI API
We use OpenAI's API to generate analyses and recommendations. When you request an analysis:
- Your decision data is sent to OpenAI through our secure server (Cloudflare Workers)
- OpenAI processes this data to generate your analysis
- We do not control how OpenAI handles data after it is received

3.2 Cloudflare Workers
Our server infrastructure runs on Cloudflare Workers. Cloudflare may collect standard web traffic data (IP addresses, request metadata) as part of their service. For more information: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy
4. Data Usage
- Your data is used solely to provide you with decision analysis
- We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes
- We do not use your data for advertising
- We do not create user profiles or track you across other apps or websites
5. Data Security
- All data transmitted between the app and our server is encrypted using HTTPS (SSL/TLS)
- API keys and sensitive credentials are stored securely on the server side and are never included in the app
- Your local data is stored using the device's standard storage mechanisms
6. Data Retention
- Local data: Remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app
- Server data: Decision data is processed in real-time and is not stored on our servers
- OpenAI: Subject to OpenAI's data retention policy
7. Your Rights
You have full control over your data:
- Delete decisions: Settings > Delete All Decisions
- Reset app: Settings > Reset App (removes all local data)
- Uninstall: Removing the app deletes all locally stored data
- Data request: Contact us for any data-related requests
8. Children's Privacy
Verdict is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
10. No Account Required
Verdict does not require user registration or account creation. No email addresses, passwords, or personal identifiers are collected.
